Sunny Hollow Montessori provides before and after school care options for currently enrolled students through our Extended Day programs. Care is available from 7:30 to 8:30 am and from 3:30 to 5:30 pm.
All of the children attending Extended Day programs are able to take advantage of the beautiful natural environment surrounding Sunny Hollow by playing outdoor games, spending time outdoors with friends, and playing on the playground. Casa, Elementary, and Junior High students also spend time indoors playing in separate, age-appropriate, large play spaces.
The morning program includes a light breakfast (available until 8 am) and the afternoon program includes a snack. After school, children may also enroll in Casa (Preschool/Kindergarten) extracurriculars or Elementary extracurriculars.
Extended Day is contracted by the month for the number of hours needed. Parents may choose one or two of these options for five days a week:
Before school: 7:30 – 8:30 am
After school: 3:30 – 4:30 pm or 3:30 – 5:30 pm
Drop-in, hourly care is available, space permitting. Morning care must be requested by 3 pm the day before care is needed; afternoon drop-in care must be requested by 2 pm on the day that care is needed. Call the office or email extendedday@sunnyhollow.org.
