Katie Gleischman and her family became part of the Sunny Hollow community in 2020. She is currently the Senior Accountant at Northwest Area Foundation, where she supports financial reporting, investments, and audit and tax compliance. Katie’s diverse career includes roles in public accounting, nonprofit communications, business administration, and librarianship, specializing in digital asset management and archiving.
Katie holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Catherine University, a bachelor’s in English and art history from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a master’s in library and information sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. An avid reader and occasional potter, Katie lives in Bloomington with her husband, Derek, and their two children, Noah and Saul. Their household also includes a variety of pets, from cats and dogs to chickens and tortoises.
