Leah Schaenzer (she/her) became a member of the extended day team at Sunny Hollow after working for three years at St. Paul Public Schools as a lunchlady. It was the elementary environment- full of fun, creative, and diverse children, that inspired her to work more directly with kids. Beyond this, she has experience collaborating with families while running daily routines as a nanny.
Outside of work, Leah is an artist, a declutterer, and an outdoor enthusiast. She enjoys finding new music, rock-hounding, relaxing in the garden, cooking healthy meals, going for hikes, laughing, and has found holistic health and healing to be very cool. She and her husband, Alex, have two cats (Franklin & Olive), and one pup (Harlow). Overall, Leah believes that authenticity and kindness can create some very meaningful connections!
