Kate (she/her) is the Casa River Lead Guide, and has worked in various roles at Sunny Hollow since 2012. Her education background includes a BA in English from the University of Minnesota, an AMI primary diploma from the Montessori Center of Minnesota, and an MAEd in Montessori Education through Saint Catherine University. She loves seeing children thrive in a Montessori environment, growing in independence, making choices and experiencing joy in learning!
Kate and her husband, Derek have two daughters, Maggie and Stella (both SHM 8th grade graduates!), and a sweet dog, Leo. She enjoys walking around the lakes, spending time with family and friends, and traveling to new places as much as possible.
