Sam joined Sunny Hollow Montessori School in September of 2023 and immediately found it to be a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment. Prior to his work here, he led environmental science focused lessons and excursions as a youth outdoor educator with the Conservation Corps of Minnesota and Iowa. Sam studied Conservation Biology at the University of Wisconsin River Falls and has a profound interest and passion for the natural sciences that he loves to share with anyone willing to listen!
Outside of work, Sam lives with his fiance, Shira, his dog, Frankie, and his cat, Margie in the Como Park neighborhood of Saint Paul. His hobbies include listening to and playing music on the guitar, drums, and banjo, as well as rock climbing, bowling, and playing video games.
