Inclusive Montessori with Heart

“Small but mighty” and “private but unpretentious” are how some parents describe Sunny Hollow Montessori. We’re proud of both. Our community is tightly knit and bound by a similar set of values. We are committed to being the school we need in the world. That is our mission.

To that end, we believe in tuition transparency. We also believe that every child for whom Montessori is the right fit should have access to an authentic Montessori education.

So that’s why we publish information about fees, tuition, and financial aid. Please reach out with any questions you may have. We’re always ready to chat with all who may be considering Sunny Hollow Montessori.

Financial Aid Available

Sunny Hollow Montessori is a tuition-based school, but we do not want financial considerations to be the major obstacle to a child and family who want to join our school.

With that in mind, we prioritize financial aid as follows:

      • Returning families
      • Underenrolled programs
      • New families

Sunny Hollow also offers a sibling discount with a savings of ten percent off the lowest tuition amount.

Apply for Financial Assistance

Each year the Board of Trustees designates funds for Financial Aid. Applications for assistance are processed by Student Services for Financial Aid, a unit of the National Association of Independent Schools, and reviewed by the Financial Aid Committee on a need-based, case-by-case basis.

A complete application includes the following:

      1. Fully completed Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) online
      2. Uploaded copy of the most recent Federal 1040 tax forms, along with schedules, W-2 and/or 1099s.

Note: In cases of divorce or separation, both parents are required to apply for financial aid. Each parent should complete the Parents Financial Statement (PFS) and list the other parent in the ‘Other Parent’ section of the application.
